3 reasons to try Cyclebar

One important thing I keep in mind for the "finish" of any of my events is the energy boost my clients need. Day-long fitness events and retreats are inspiring and rewarding, but also taxing on the body and mind. I like to finish strong with a class that motivates people to dig deeper and push harder than they know is possible. With this as the criteria, I must say we hit the mark by ending our recent City Skinny Fit Day at Cyclebar. The instructor, Andi led our group with delightful energy, great music and routine, keeping in mind the physical demands these ladies had been undertaking since 8 am. A few things really impressed me about the Kenwood Cyclebar studio.

1. Great attitudes. I often talk about how important a friendly face is upon arriving at a new studio. Our job in the fitness industry is, first and foremost, to encourage and eliminate the intimidation factor for new clients. This is key to both studio and client success! We were taken care of from the moment we entered Cyclebar's doors, with shoe and bike fittings, encouragement, patience and wonderful hospitality. We hosted an awesome healthy happy hour in Cyclebar's lobby and the staff went above and beyond helping us in any way possible.

2. Community. I have always been impressed by how much the Cyclebar team gives back to the community. They always seem willing to jump in to make Cincinnati's fitness scene better and better. It really sealed the deal for me when, the very next day after our event, I attended a charity ride for a close friend of mine, raising money for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society. I came to find out that entire day's schedule was stacked with other various charity rides, and that this is something that Cyclebar does often through CycleGiving to give back to the community. Bravo!

3. A great sweat sesh. Whether you are competitively driven and want to see your name atop the leader board or just want to find your own pace and rhythm, you are guaranteed a great workout. I also love that some members of the team stayed at work for an extra hour to ride with us. It was that much fun!

So whether you are looking to find your fitness groove this summer or just want to mix up your routine, check out Cyclebar's two Cincinnati locations in Hyde Park or Kenwood! They have a great deal for "Rookie Riders" going on right now; if you register for a class, you pick up a free credit. Oh, and grab a ride for Father's Day: dads get a free ride! How's that to sweeten your Father's Day gift?
